Research Park Executives to Gather in TempeUniversity research, science and technology park executives will meet in Tempe, Arizona next month for Spring Training 2013, a series of workshops on best practices and challenges facing university research park professionals. “Spring Training is a favorite among our members,” said the Association of University Research Parks (AURP) President and Executive Director of the University Technology Park at the Illinois Institute of Technology David Baker. “The top experts are in one room, focused on helping you and your park succeed.” Senior park executives from Research Triangle Park, Purdue Research Park, Sandia Science & Technology Park and the University City Science Center will be in attendance, among others. Featured workshops include: Open Innovation, Into the Future: Major Initiatives and Strategies, Threat Preparedness for the 21st Century, and Creating a New Value Proposition for University Research Parks.
